I moved to Cornwall from London three years ago with the intention of doing more sailing and setting up my own business. Since then I’ve managed to do one of those and not much else! Last February my partner saw this site being built on Fistral Beach; five months later I opened The Windswept Cafe, a place to enjoy good, home-made food, in the company of friends in a stunning environment. We were always especially keen to delight our customers with interesting, top-quality food sourced from local farms, butchers, bakers and more besides; once we learned about Plough to Plate, they were the obvious choice. Come and sample the results - including one of Cornwall Cakes’ amazing creations - and, if it’s too fresh for the outside, combine it with a warming hot chocolate or kick off your summer with a glass of cold Chablis on our balcony. There's nowhere better to enjoy the sunset. |
