Muffins Tea Shop |
Muffins is a tea shop where we focus on providing both local customers and visitors with the best Cornish food and drink, the best service and the best ambience at a very reasonable price. Our aim is to make every customer want to visit again and again (and to tell all their friends, of course). We opened five years ago; from the beginning we sourced as much of our food and drink locally as we could, mainly because it just seemed the natural thing to do. There’s so much more available now than there used to be, and teaming up with Plough to Plate’s simplified the whole process of benefiting from this ever-increasing variety. As well as all the tea-shop favourites, we have a large delicatessen area: customers love to try before they buy, and this is where they can sample many of the products from our menu. Even after five years we love finding new products to offer, and we’re delighted that our efforts have been consistently acknowledged, with awards from Taste of the West, Visit Cornwall and The Tea Council. |
